Recently concluded a hands-on staff seminar on the topic of Leadership and Accountability to the command staff and supervisors of the agency. One command staff member commented, "Could not have gone any better." Another stated, " I am new here, and what I learned about the department today would have taken me a year to find out on my own. Thanks so much." Discussions are underway for additional seminars and staff training.

Works as a consultant to the Association on the development of their Executive Search program, which is featured on their website, www.fpca.com. This program provides services to government agencies throughout the state of Florida in the selection of Police Chiefs and Command personnel for their agencies.

Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Institute |
Delivered First Line Supervisory training to representatives from agencies throughout the state of Virginia and the District of Columbia. Response of students was extremely positive. Programs have been delivered in 2007 and 2008 and is being scheduled for 2009.

New York City Hospital Police |
Presented a class covering First Line Supervision and Leadership to law enforcement supervisors working in the New York Hospital System. Elizabeth Rodriguez, who attended the class and works in the Central Office of the organization stated, "The instructor was wonderful; very informative and clear".
Another student, Mr. Rizwan Latif, stated, "It was the best program I ever attended" and Captain Brenda Weiss stated, "I am so happy I attended this session. The materials that were provided will be something that I will always use and refer to. Chief Mathieson was wonderful."
